Tailor PositionAlteration Specialists is looking for Tailors in NYC, Hoboken, NJ & Greenwich, CT. We are looking for a dynamic professional Tailors, distinguished by their charisma, technical prowess, and professional integrity. This role will include sewing on the machine, and supporting the fitter/tailors and tailor shop manager. This is a full time role with an hourly rate, full benefits, and opportunities for future growth.ResponsibilitiesMachine Production and SewingDemonstrate that you are meeting personal production targetsCultivate proficiency with men's, women's, and bridal alterations as well as alterations of difficult fabricsAnalyticsConstantly be evaluating processes that are not efficient and come up with solutions to better optimize our organizationInform front desk of all re-alterationsKeep track of and scan your production during the day and communicate with front desk to confirm accuracyAttributesYou are a hard worker. You're have a passion for sewing and work with speed and quality.You are mission driven. You are motivated to help change the fashion industry, and move towards a more sustainable future and serve as an excellent ambassador for a cause you believe in.You are systematic.
