Restaurant Manager needed
Wayan & Ma·dé by Chef Cedric Vongerichten is looking for team members with a passion for hospitality, food, and beverage for his New York City location. Wayan & Ma·dé's cuisine focuses on the culture and flavors of Indonesia with a touch of French techniques. We want to build a culture that is positive and engaging. We are looking for applicants who are reliable, enthusiastic, culture driven, and team-oriented.
• Minimum 2 years experience in management position.
• Service and hospitality orientated.
• Must be hands on during service.
• Flexible availability on nights, weekends, and holidays
• Employee must perform opening and closing duties required of them
• Must be knowledgeable about the food menus along with the items’ preparations, ingredients, and sourcing.
• Employee is to be personable and engaging with guests.
• Professional verbiage and a positive attitude are required.
• Manager must be able efficiently delegate tasks to the FOH team in an appropriate and professional manner.
• Must be able to multitask while remaining calm high stress situations.
• Applicant must have superior communication skills.
• Manager must be willing to work together with their Front of House and Back of House teammates.
• Must be willing to assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the restaurant
• Position will require the employee to climb up and down stairs multiple times throughout a shift
